Attended Architecture Beyond Borders: Switzerland x Türkiye Event

TAAPP’s international programme for architectural and cultural dialogue brought us together in Ankara under the theme “Sustainability and Baukultur” in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland and with the support of Geberit Türkiye and Swissnex Network @swissnex_network .

From an inspiring seminar with Stephanie Bender and Philippe Béboux of 2b architectes at the TAAPP Architecture Centre to an evening reception hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland, the programme created space for architectural dialogue, sustainability and international exchange.

Frank Gehry – Illuminations @ Istanbul

In line with our company’s vision and the importance we attach to sectoral developments, we had the privilege of attending a highly meaningful event organized within the scope of Architecture Week.
We attended the “Frank Gehry – Enlightenments” conference, organized by Burak Pekoğlu and hosted by İstanbulSMD at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Sedad Hakkı Eldem Auditorium. During this special event, we had the opportunity to discover the unique legacy and architectural vision of the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, whom we lost last year, through the insights of esteemed international speakers.
Moderated by Esra Aydınoğlu, the conference featured keynote speeches by Edwin Chan, Lyndel King, and Thomas Mayer. It was a wonderful experience to connect, share knowledge, and explore new collaborative horizons with fellow architects, academics, and industry professionals. We remain committed to supporting such high-caliber organizations that broaden perspectives in the architectural world.

Celebrating Architectural Excellence at the 17th TSMD Architecture Awards

In line with our company’s vision and the value we place on sectoral advancements, we are proud to have been a part of one of the most prestigious events in the architectural community.
On October 5th, World Architecture Day, we attended the 17th TSMD Architecture Awards Ceremony, organized biennially by the Association of Turkish Private Architects (TSMD) under this year's theme, “Housing is a Human Right. Build It.” Held at the Ankara Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Blue Hall, this special evening brought together architects, academics, and industry stakeholders to celebrate the social responsibility of architecture and the core values shaping our field.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the laureates, teams, and institutions recognized across the Grand Prize (awarded to Ercan Çoban), Jury Special Award, Press-Publication, Contribution to Architecture, and Building Awards categories, all meticulously evaluated by the esteemed selection committee chaired by Hasan Özbay. We also thank TSMD and all the sponsors for hosting this meaningful event, which plays a vital role in advancing our profession and elevating architectural culture.
